In early May a large contingent of choristers and their supporters journeyed to Cornwall to participate in the Cornwall International Male Choir festival.
Based in Cambourne for a long weekend,the choir participated with a number of other choirs in Penzance and Mevagissey.
The main focus of the weekend was to compete against other choirs from around the UK at the impressive Truro Cathedral.This was the first time that the choir had competed in a serious competition for many years and were delighted to finish in fourth position,a mere 4 points behind the eventual winners,The Bath Male Voice Choir.

We were honoured to be one of only four choirs who were invited to sing at the final Gala Concert in the Cathedral to close the festival and were delighted to receive standing ovations from the capacity audience.
