At the invitation of the President of the Royal Welsh Agricultural Society, Johnny Homfray, the choir was immensely proud to headline the very popular Moliant Y Maes event on the evening before the start of the Royal Welsh Show in Builth Wells. An audience reckoned to be over 1,000 attended the shearing shed (where the event is traditionally held) and the feedback was instantly extraordinary. Indeed, watch this space for notice of a new concert being planned with the RWAS in the Winter, such was the acclaim.
The Choir’s visit to Clanfield was an absolute fiesta from start to finish. A wonderful community tea on arrival, a sold out audience in very warm and sultry conditions and a packed pub for the brilliant afterglow. Bravo Clanfield – we will return!
