The Cowbridge Male Voice Choir Enjoy themselves

Membership currently stands at around the 75 mark.We are still looking for members, so men who enjoy singing and who live in the area would be most welcome to take part in a rehearsal. These are held in The Jane Hodge Hotel, Trerhyngyll near Cowbridge every Wednesday evening. They start at 7:30pm and last about 2 hours. Visitors to the area are also most welcome to sit in on our rehearsals should they be in the area.

The choir has traveled widely abroad over the years and has visited Ontario (1994), Ireland (1996&1999), the Czech Republic (1998), Boston & Providence USA (2000). It has also hosted concerts in Cowbridge for many overseas choirs.

The repertoire is varied, ranging from classical Welsh choral pieces such as Gwahoddiad, Laudamus, Llef and Myfanwy, to musicals such as Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera and West Side Story. We have also incorporated more modern songs such as Bohemian Rhapsody, California Dreaming and You Raise Me Up.

In order to raise much needed funds for the choir, we welcome invitations to sing at weddings in the Vale Of Glamorgan area, conference dinners and similar events.
